To Our Dedicated Cars and Coffee Enthusiasts:
We regret to inform you all that the upcoming Greenwich Cars & Coffee event scheduled for this Sunday at the Greenwich Polo Club has been canceled due to inclement weather and poor ground conditions.
Unfortunately, the recent heavy rainfall last week and today has left the field in muddy and unsafe conditions, making it impossible to proceed with the event as planned. As you all know, we hold a higher than normal standard to our event and want to continue to uphold that. Trying to push on in mediocre conditions wouldn’t align with the brand and image we strive for at each event.
The safety of our attendees, their vehicles, and our dedicated volunteers is our top priority, and given the current state of the field, it would be inadvisable to go ahead with the event. We understand that many of you were eagerly looking forward to this gathering, and we share your disappointment in having to make this decision. With several hundred spectator cars planning to be in attendance this year, and the expected rainfall tomorrow, the field is in too poor condition to hold the event as planned.
In the meantime, please stay tuned to our social media channels and website for updates on our future plans. There is no plan to reschedule the event at this time.
We apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and appreciate your understanding in these challenging weather conditions. We remain committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and unmatched experience for all of our Greenwich Cars & Coffee enthusiasts.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you at a future event when the conditions are more favorable.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us. If you have purchased a spectator pass, we are more than happy to refund you.
